Linedancer HD – 7th generation Extreme Processor
Linedancer HD is a fully software programmable Extreme Processor, ideal for high performance image processing and signal processing tasks.
Based on Aspex’s unique 7th generation Associative String Processing architecture, Linedancer exploits the natural parallelism found in many image processing and wireless infrastructure applications to process thousands of data items simultaneously on each clock cycle.
Linedancer provides the processing power traditionally associated with hard-wired approaches such as FPGA and ASIC, whilst retaining the flexibility and time-to-market advantages of a software-programmable architecture like a CPU or DSP.
Linedancer is manufactured in a standard CMOS logic process by our partner
Philips Semiconductors, who also provide a full ISO-9000 compliant supply chain.
