Direct Data Interface – streaming data I/O ports
Linedancer HD provides a new streaming Direct Data Interface block, supporting high speed parallel transfer of data to and from external devices, directly into on-chip or off-chip memory.
- 4 x 8-bit input ports, 4 x 8-bit output ports
- Up to 3.2 GBytes/second bandwidth
- Generic, flexible parallel interfaces
- Direct interface to ADCs, DACs, and streaming digital inputs
- Supports direct coupling to FPGA co-processors
The interface is arranged as four 8-bit input ports and four 8-bit output ports.
